What are we studying?
Women in the Word will study Paul’s letter to the Philippians this fall.
Philippians is filled expressions of praise, joy and confidence, despite the fact that Paul wrote the letter while he was in prison. The Philippian church, unlike many other churches Paul wrote to, was not facing any particular problem or controversy. Instead they faced the kind of challenges that still plague churches today: members not getting along, divisions within the community, some misleading others with ideas not in line with the gospel, etc.
We will learn from Paul how to rejoice and persevere through the common difficulties of life.
Newcomers are welcome! Women in the Word is open to anyone in the community. Consider inviting a friend to attend with you!
