1 Samuel: Path to Kingship

July 8, 2014 By Krisan Marotta

1 Samuel: Path to Kingship | WednesdayintheWord.com

These three shifts are to prepare the way for the next major shift: transforming God’s people from with a geopolitical identity to a people with a heavenly identity:

  • Jerusalem replaces Shiloh as the center for workshop
  • Kingship replaces tribal elders as the form of leadership
  • Israel is transformed from a loose band of tribes to a unified kingdom capable of exercising power over her neighbors and influencing world politics.
