High Five for Friday! Here’s a look back at some of my favorite things from this week for which I am grateful.
- Terrible Love, a movie my son edited, won the Audience Award for Best Narrative Feature at the Austin Film Festival. How cool is that! It’s like winning the People’s Choice award!
- My husband and I escaped for a day of serious fun. We attended Marvel Universe Live! While we were a minority of adults unaccompanied by a child under 12, we had a great time. Watching this show is like being in the midst of a comic book. If you love comics or Marvel superheros, you’ll love this show.
- The Virginia Men’s soccer team advanced to the quarterfinals of the ACC Tournament with a 1-0 win over Virginia Tech! The Virginia Women’s Soccer team (#3) plays North Carolina (#2) tonight in their openning game of the ACC tournament. If only they put that game on TV! It’s a great time to be a Virginia soccer fan.
- Another of my blog posts is about to be re-posted on The Aquila Report. In case you’re not familiar with it, The Aquila Report is the Drudge Report for religious news. Reading it always gives me something interesting to think about!
- Fall is still beautiful!
